Follow the adventures of AJ, Katy, Susannah and Tess as they train and compete their ponies on New Zealand’s national show jumping circuit. Whether they have an unschooled pony and tack held together with duct tape, or a string of top-quality show jumpers, these four girls all have one thing in common - a love for the sport, and a lot of love for their ponies.

Each book in the Pony Jumper series is told from the perspective of one of the four main characters and ties into the books that have gone before. Set in New Zealand, the series incorporates information about training and riding competition ponies that will give help and guidance to readers, as well as each telling a compelling story. This is the third book in the series and is told from Susannah’s point of view. This book also contains reference to events that happened in the books Dare to Dream and Dream On.

My only regret with this book is that it wasn’t long enough! Kate Lattey draws real characters; believable people of all ages and of course ponies. Susannah, the girl other girls love to hate, becomes a girl you can empathise with once you know her side of the story.
